Starting from Tier VIII the Surveillance Radar and Spotting Aircraft consumables become available in the same slot.

Tier V and VI ships have access to the Fighter consumable.

Tier IV unlocks the Short-Range Hydroacoustic Search consumable, while Tier VII brings Defensive AA Fire in the same slot.

From Tier VI it's substituted with Specialized Repair Teams, which restores a significant amount of hit points, including citadel hit points.
